Jacquotte

THE PIRATE QUEEN

Place of Origin: The Driftwood Drag
Backstory: Jacquotte hails from the dark and murky waters of the Driftwood Drag, the shadowy river that forms the border between the Tangled Wood and the Viridian Labyrinth. Jacquotte grew up with her small family on a large and dilapidated ship that would slowly meander its way through the waters. Jacquotte learned to steal and plunder any dragon or beast clan her family would choose, the group taking what they could and then retreating to their ship. Jacquotte soon became quite proficient as a pirate, and gathered a good amount of plunder, including her fine cutlass, as well as the dragon bones she has fastened into armor over her face and arms. She was something to be feared, gaining a reputation as the pirate Queen of the drag.

Destiny: Like all Guardians, Jacquotte soon developed an itch to find her charge and protect them. Jacquotte, liking her life on the drag, fought the urge all she could but soon could no longer stand it and gave in. Her search brought her over the waters and into the shrieking wilds of the Viridian Labyrinth, where she met her charge, the cunning clan leader Winona. After gaining Winona's trust and respect, the mirror took pity on the guardian, who longed for the river, and assigned her to go and fish the rivers for food for the clan (and if a little plundering happened on the side, well, free stuff right?)
