Eris was one of the 6 deities that sprung forth from The Great Hurricane, the storm that gave birth to The Gods of the Cliffs. When she sprung forth, a great gale of cold followed her. Wherever her long hair touched, frost would soon follow. She wandered the land for centuries, spreading winter winds wherever she went. She was the most beautiful of the six, and the most graceful. She adored the night and would spend hours upon hours watching the stars and seeing the moon change its shape. Eris preferred her own company, and didn't stay in contact with her siblings or the Creators. She spent her immortal life meandering across the land and spreading the gift of winter.

At night, she found herself watching the moon trace its path through the cold night sky. Where was it going? She fashioned herself wings of snow and flew to follow the moon. They say it took her three days to fly through the sky to reach the moon. When she did, Eris inspected it. She pulled a smooth, round stone off of the surface. It was a moonstone. Delighted by it's beauty, she flicked her tail, sending moonstones and stardust falling down to earth. Legend tells us that the stardust became the first snow. From then on, she became known as Eris the Moon-Chaser.

Eris stayed on the moon for decades, sending stardust down Sorenith. The period became known as the Eternal Blizzard, where the dragons lives in cold for years. Soon, Eris began to tire of her existence, watching the stars and steering the moon on its path. She lifted her wings and flew to the Earth to see what had changed at her home.

When Eris returned, the world ws quite different then she had left it. The icefield to the south had grown, and the land was less ravaged. But right as Eris had toured the land, there was a great clap of power from the North. She rushed to the source of the disturbance, where a great pillar now stood. Her siblings were there, too, along with an eerie blue dragon who held a swirling orb in her hands. The pillar radiated elemental magic, and powerful magic too. The cause of the pillar had to be the creators. But it's magic stopped the planet's inhabitants from leaving, but it also stopped evil forces from entering the planet.
