STARGAZE
"Delicate things are not as easy to break as you may think ..."

Stargaze has an affinity for reading unparalleled by most. In fact, some say she's read practically every mainstream title offered to the Sornieth public, and has under her belt a number of archaic tomes and pamphlets rarely seen outside of historical circles. 'Some,' of course, being the hatchlings that get frequently booted to her library by frustrated parents looking for a little peace around the home. These hatchlings are given two options by Stargaze; be respectful of the rules of the library, or be forced to explain to their parents why they were kicked out. Though this may seem rather chilly, the hatchlings tend to generally respect her. She knows the answer to every single question that they volley her way -
"Can five-toes pilcos have less than five toes?"
"Are all plants technically edible?"
"Is it true that deep sea lobsters are the only animals not capable of dying of old age?"
- and is happy to provide them with sources to explore their topic of interest further, turning some of the most unruly of her young visitors into avid researchers. If they ask her how she got so smart, her answer is, of course, reading.

Now, every once in a while, a hatchling just refuses to learn their lesson. They run too much in the library, and won't slow their feet down for anything or anyone. Someone intentionally ruins a book to irk the librarian, angry that their parents sent them here to begin with. Food is smuggled in. Shelves are stuck with gum. Those offenders never return - in fact, they never come home, either. The library is always the last place that they are seen. Of course, the matter horrifies Stargaze, who by all accounts by clan authorities has increased security measures around her library. What they don't know is that Stargaze knows the safest place for these criminals - inside of her bloodstream, their essence keeping her young, fresh, and deathless. A couple of thousands of years around the block teaches a demon a thing or two, including how to properly hide such small bodies.
