Hi, I'm Bape, pronounced as bah-pay. No, it doesn't rhyme with grape, or ape, or pineapple. And it certainly doesn't rhyme with FR time +0, but that does happen to be my typical time zone!

English is my first language, but when I'm tired, I'm incoherent! And lucky me. I'm often tired. I'll gladly clarify anything I said if needed.

She/her and they/them pronouns are fine! Well more specifically, I usually use she/her pronouns but every now and then they/them feels a little nicer. But realistically I'm not going to be in many situations where someone's referring to me by my pronouns, and even if they are, they're probably going to default to they/them because I don't think that they'll check. And personally, I don't mind. Anyways, this is getting longwinded, but basically I don't really care.

I've been on FR since September 2020, and I typically float in and out of hiatus every couple of months. While I'm active, the main things that I like to do on FR are to waste time on FRD, participate in IKTR, plan fandragons, and occasionally participate in forum games.

Outside of FR, I like to be the person that my younger self would have been disappointed in. I play genshin and read fanfiction and webtoons. I also like instrumental music, despite being mediocre at it. I currently play piano, violin, and mallet percussion.

...I lowkey kinda regret naming myself BapeTheFish. It's kind of an inside joke that I'm not very connected to. I haven't changed it because I think a few people recognize me by it, and I don't want to deal with pinglists.

I either forgot about it (unlikely), I'm offline (very likely), I'm actively writing a response (somewhat likely), or I didn't think that it required a response (extremely likely).

I really doubt that anyone is actually asking this question, but in case you are, sure. Random friend requests don't bother me at all. However, there's a chance that I might not actually accept it.

I probably started with a message. And then overthought it and wrote multiple paragraphs. And then tried to shorten it, but sacrificing coherency. And then became too exhausted to proofread it again (like with this FAQ, I'm getting tired). And then just sent it because it would feel like a waste of time to not send anything at all.

Yup! I'm not a hardcore exalter, though. I typically just exalt fodder that I've hatched.

Note: For dragons, I typically only resell random fodder hatchlings on the AH that were below LAH, and I only bump it up a few gems or so so that it's actually fodder priced. For items...I don't know how you figured it out, because I only resell things that I bought from the AH, not from the item forum.

I probably didn't see the note. This usually happens when sales tabs aren't blatantly obvious and/or when lair descriptions are just 100% lore. Sometimes I can't tell when a tab is supposed to be filled with someone's well loved, underground dragon warriors that fight for justice and battle the Shade, or if they're just fodder that'll be yeeted to the deities at the next dom battle.

I can't force you to respond, but I would appreciate it if you responded to my message, even if you decline my offer. If I happen to really want the dragon I might send a follow-up PM to check whether you just missed the message or are uninterested, so it saves time for both of us. :)

The quick answer is most likely not. Most of the dragons that I buy these days are fandragons, and I don't want to rename those because they're, well, fandragons.

If it's a g1 then I refuse to rename it, because there is literally no reason why it would affect you or any offspring lists. I also rarely name my g1s because I'm indecisive, so if it's named, that means that I'm pretty set on the name.

However, if it's a fodder dragon I might be able to, as long as it's not exalted yet. If you really want me to rename it, please send me a PM including at least this:

• A message explaining the situation, and a new name for the dragon. Especially the last one, for obvious reasons.
• A link to the dragon (please include an actual link instead of an ID or an image.)
• A renaming scroll
• If possible, some kind of proof that you owned the dragon, such as a screenshot. This isn't necessary, but it's just nice to know that you don't have malicious intents with someone else's dragons.

It really depends on the situation. I can't really summarize what I'd do here, so just send a PM :)

I've been going through a hibden purge because the majority of it simply doesn't make me happy. A lot of them just give me stress, because I'm not extremely attached to them but they're expensive to finish. I'm really sorry if you didn't want them to be exalted, but there's nothing
I can do about it.

Good question. I really don't know.

I've been trying to clear out my hibden and it's not completely sorted, so I don't even know which dragons I'm willing to get rid of. All I can say for sure is that any g1 veils or level 25 dragons are definitely not for sale. There are a few g1s and g2+ that I'm definitely keeping, though. If you are interested in a dragon, just send a PM to me, preferably listing your price range!

Please PM me! It really depends based on which dragon it is, but in general I think that all of the dragons that I'd be okay with studding are dragons that I'd rather sell.

As stated on the tab description, typically 15g/kt, but during a crazy dom battle, it will probably be higher! Or alternatively, I may request an simple explanation for what you want to actually do with the dragon, because if the fodder floor is higher than 15g/kt, I don't want my hibden to be exploited as a cheap fodder supplier.

Because that's how I keep track of threads that I want to keep track of. By searching through my forum history for "bookmark", I kind of have an on-site bookmark tool. It's kinda neat. Feel free to do this too, if you want.

I used this site. If you want to know the specifics, it's start color #7F0FFF, end color #F60CFF, with a horizontal gradient.

And another note:
I rarely use color gradients/small text/etc, and when I do it's probably not important (usually for progress logs on my projects, and extra little notes in my fandragon projects where I just comment on the photo that I used). However, if you do need to know/clarify what something says for whatever reason, don't be afraid to ask via PM!
