Haemophilus Jnr hails from a lair that’s actually rather close to Clan Dan. The clan of Eternal, which is headed by a shadowy matriarch. She herself knows little of that clan, as she left it when she was young, and was adopted by Haemophilus.
To clarify her adoption, some backstory is needed: Hemo Jnr’s mother is Eternal, who is Hemo’s self-proclaimed archenemy. There is some dispute about whether or not Eternal actually considers Hemo anything other than an annoyance, but he loathes her and her clan with a passion. Eternal in particular purports to be a spy for the Shadowbinder, within the Plague flight, a concept which is unconscionable in Hemo’s eyes. How dare she disrespect his beloved deity? And within that vein, Hemo has now taken to adopting, naming and exalting all her children. Haemophilus Jnr was Eternal’s firstborn, and now she is Hemo’s protégé. She will become a valued member of the clan’s Coliseum team, and she will teach her younger siblings to be proper children of the Plaguebringer.
Hemo Jnr herself is an interesting one. Like most Nocturnes, she is prone to copying. She copies her adopted father, Haemophilus. She has similar mannerisms to the older spiral, right down to her tendency to rant about Plagueling superiority. However, unlike her papa, she's not likely to attack others. Hemo Jnr also sleeps like a spiral; ie wrapped around whatever she can find to wrap around. It’s a comical sight, to see the tiny, batlike dragon curled around her papa's neck.
