Biography
He should’ve seen it coming. There was nothing good that could come from fighting and war, especially not with other clans. They should be setting up negotiations and trade routes and all manner of useful things, not picking fights. Instead, they were here, sitting in yet another war council meeting with Nightbloom at the head, directing them this way and that as if they were marionettes on a string. Brychan had told Nightbloom on more than one occasion that it hadn’t been a good idea. But she had dismissed his every concern, brushed aside his every word of caution, and told him that she knew what she was doing, that there was no other way, and to trust her. So he did. But when the enemy arrived a few days earlier than they were prepared for, when their careful considerations were thrown out the window in the chaos, he found his world thrown into fire and mayhem, the trees burning bright and dragons clashing and screaming. Weeks afterwards, Brychan still wasn’t sure how he’d survived. A dash of luck, a twist of fate, and though he might’ve been crippled, he was alive and that was more than others could say. That was more than Nightbloom could say. Something had gone so terribly wrong that day, leaving Nightbloom a cooling corpse on the ground and their clan leaderless. Something had gone so terribly wrong that Voidgold, the co-leader who should’ve done his part, took one look at the smoldering wreckage around them, and left without another word. In the silence, Brychan stepped up. It was different but purposeful beneath his guidance. There were always the dissenters who fought against change, but inch by inch, Brychan dragged them from the dark age they’d fallen to, into the prosperous future of innovation and invention. They were a long way from how they were on that fateful day. No longer behind, no longer at the mercy of who was physically stronger and faster. His prosthetics twinged with phantom pains, pins and needles that never quite went away, but his movements were sure and deft as he worked on his latest design. Another invention that would aid the clan. He wasn’t going to let anything like that happen again. Not to them. Not ever.

LIGHTNING BANNER AND BOTTLE BY OSIEM #30450;
He's currently the standing clan leader as the first (Nightbloom) died in a clash against an opposing clan and the co-leader (Voidgold) ditched out of grief lmao, and swearing that such tragedy wouldn't happen again, he's turned the small space of the surviving clan into a thriving research center focused on advancement at almost any cost
- had to get those prosthetics due to aforementioned clash
- he's kinda an irritable guy especially without his needed caffeine
- never leaves the lab unless he must or Lights drags him out herself
- cares about his partner Lights and the clan greatly, even if he wouldn't openly show affection
- anyone outside the clan, he's probably a whole lot less sympathetic to (maybe even apathetic)
