Biography
Pit holds the stats from hatching 52 bogsneak eggs in a year. Thread/original graph post link below.
Using the data in the "color log" post on page one of this thread, I looked at what RNG landed on for 52 total hatches.
In terms of notable hatches, there was one XXY, a crocodile/crocodile/saffron boy who I decided to keep and name Dongo. He was hatched in October.
Overall, there was a bias towards male hatches this time around, with 25 female and 27 male. Rather delightfully, there is an Exploded 3D Pie style of graph that *is* appropriate for this.
(Note: the rest of these graphs are going to be "Exploded Donut" style graphs, even where not appropriate, because it amuses me.)
Even though there are 177 total colors on the color wheel, a full 6 colors were seen twice as primaries, and one, radioactive, was seen three times. These color graphs show the colors which were repeated, and non-repeated colors are not represented.
Nine colors were seen twice as secondaries, below.
There was a smaller variety of tertiary colors repeated, but boy howdy, did they repeat. Three colors were duplicated, but mauve was seen three times as a tert and peach showed up a whopping FOUR times. FOUR.
Randomized elemental backgrounds were not evenly distributed either, with zero Plague hatchlings and a bias to Wind and Arcane with 9 hatches each.
Definitely had better luck this year with eye rarity as there were two special eye hatches, one multi-gaze and one goat. Common was most common, as would be expected, but uncommon and unusual were neck and neck.
As with last year, I bred this here bog whose bio you're reading with the most common attributes from the colors, etc., seen this year. I chose from the duplicated secondary colors to match the primary and tertiary, so this year's graph holder is a very bright common wind lad with radioactive/tangerine/peach coloration. In recognition of the fact that there were FOUR PEACH TERTS (really I can't get over this point, FOUR TIMES, REALLY, I ASK YOU RNG), he is named Pit.
