Biography
I thought it would be interesting to do a little recap of the stats from hatching 53 bogsneak eggs in a year. Thread here:
Using the data in the "color log" post on page one of this thread, I looked at what RNG landed on for 53 total hatches.
In terms of notable hatches, there was one XYX, a honeydew/plum/honeydew in January 2019.
Overall, there was a bias towards female hatches, with 30 female and 23 male.
(Note: the rest of these graphs are going to be "Exploded Donut" style graphs, even where not appropriate, because once I found out there was something in that name, well, I couldn't use anything else.)
Even though there are 177 total colors on the color wheel, a full 8 colors were seen twice as primaries. These color graphs are skewed to show the colors which were duplicated, and in this case the 37 non-repeated colors are not represented.
Seven colors were seen twice as secondaries (again the 39 non-repeated colors are not represented).
And a total of 9 tertiary colors were repeated (35 non-repeated colors not represented).
Now for elements and eyes! Since the bogsneak elemental backgrounds are also randomized, I was interested to see that over 53 hatches RNG by far favored Ice (9 hatchies out of 53). In contrast, there was only one Earth hatchling.
In terms of eye rarity, there were no special eyes (multi, primal, goat, etc), and--as the name would suggest--common was by far the most prevalent eye type (28 out of 53 hatches), followed by uncommon (17 of 53), rare (5 of 53), and unusual (3 of 53).
To commemorate the wrapping up of a full year of Sneaky Sundays, I've bred the incorrectly named Median Bog by choosing target colors from what I prefer amongst the duplicated colors (caribbean/oilslick/teal), female with common ice eyes.
