Biography
Born of metal, steam, and magic from the Plague domain, Lucretia took her first breaths as a synthetic beast of burden. Her mind was fully occupied by the task of transport and conquest, tearing down anything that stood in her path without remorse. Her time as a war machine was cut short, though, as a campaign through the Blacksand Annex saw her knocked from the sky by a flesh-and-blood Banescale. Lucretia sat at the foot of the Great Furnace, covered in its ash as she tried to rationalize and identify her situation. In that time, rust and soot began to creep into her joints, making it even more difficult to move.
When she finally dragged herself to an upright position, her mind felt fuzzy and...new. Since her wing joints were too coated in ash and soot to fly, Lucretia travelled on foot to the Shifting Expanse, where she was met with resistance by a Gaoler originally from the Expanse, who had gone on to join an Arcane clan. After a brief hostile encounter, Lucretia made clear that she was searching for someone to help her repair her broken body. The Gaoler, Bacchante, agreed to take her back to the Starfall Isles, where she has remained ever since; her body has healed to the point where she can fly once again, and like the organic counterparts of her species, she has begun to regrow her plated scales.
