Biography

She will get lore about how she met the love of her life. Her great love will be the child of one of my veilspun pairs!

Growing up surrounded by flush greens, Perrin could not see herself living without them. Whereever she traveled, she would bring a succulet from her homeland, nurturing and caring for it like a friend. On the road a familiar grew curious and started following her. She named him Babe, as she was growing a little lonely. At first it would try to nib at her succulet, now named Yui, but quickly learned that it was unacceptable.

They stuck togerther for a while, then he suddenly left, following a flock of Hippalectryon high in the air. She was at the beach, on the border of the Tangled Wood and the Sea of a Thousand Currents. She could have followed, but she only stared at the beauty of him getting accepted in the flock. It sparked something in her, and she longed to settle in a clan again. All her sketchbooks were full, too, so she would need to approach a clan in order to get more. A few days later, just as she had found a clan to buy from, Babe returned with a mate. She was a seemingly young Hippalectryon, yet obviously used to dragon crowds. After she had resupplied, Babe started to nudge her and look towards the South-Western parts of the ocean. When she slowly followed, the familars seemed happy. They continued at a lasx pace in that direction, flying and swimming by day and sleeping on beaches at night. It somehow felt like her journey had a purpose now.

One day the familiars took a sharp right towards the shore and cried loudly. On the beach a pile oif sand moved and unfolded. It was a couple of faes with bodies so well camouflaged she was nervous that they might have disturbed a whole colony. One of the fae fluttered lazily into the air and greeted the Hippalectryon. The female was obviously his familiar. He did not seem surprised to see her tailing the pair, and Babe seemed no stranger to him either. The guy even had a snack in his hand!

"And this is the guest dens" Lady Vega said with another flourish of her claws. Perrin's mind was still strolling in the Windflower Garden. "This concludes our tour. Venus will show you to your room for the night. Tomorrow she will give you directions if you don't find your way. Goodnight!" She squueezed Perrins' hands, snapping her out of her daydreams. "Yes, thank you very much!" Was the logical response her brain managed to come up with on the fly. The guide turned and left, and she was left in a quite large cave entrance. She went in, quite confident after the nice tour of the day. They had spent the evening in a cave system above the beach, and walked to the gigantic lair that was the Windflower in the morning. She had been overwhelmed at first by the sheer amount of different breeds and elements gathered in one place, but had come to forget everything when she entered the gardens. She had been told to visit Pearl's garden the next day, and she sure would. Everything else was a blur, and Babe had left with his girl again.

Suddenly her mind cleared and again she became aware of her surroundings. She was in what looked like a hotel reseption. A purple tundra popped her head up from behind the reception desk and smiled. "We don't have many veilspun yet, so please excuse our ignorance of your breed. If there is anything you need I'll be next door. The actual reseptionist is on holiday, so I'm just stepping in for the week. Here is a form to fill out and give me in the morning. The stay will be 2kt, but we also take gems or items as payment, so don't worry." She handed over a simple, double sided paper of questions and a charcoal stick. "It's in common draconean, but feel free to ask me for help filling it out. Also, there was one more thing I was supposed to say, but I may have forgotten. One sec." She grabbed a note from behind her desk, written in an unelegant handwriting. She seemed like she was having a hard time interpreting it. "Your familiar is taken care of for the night, he will probably spend the next couple of days making a nest with Elea." Her head peeked up from the paper. "Starshot needs to learn how to write." She then proceeded to show the way to the rooms, her anklets makingf a faint jingle as she walked.

The room was spaceous enough, and could be well lit. She lit all the candles. It smelled faintly of something she didn't reccognise and was told it was a local soap. After watching her settle in, Venus seemed to notice her sluggishness and how close she was to the candles. She huirried to fetch a pile of blankets and a small horde of windcorgies. She had popped her head in and asked carefully "Would you like our troupe of fluffy friendly dog familiars to accompany you tonight?" Her body language clearly said yes, for she let the mass of happy tail waggers in before she could agree. Then the tundra had left with a smirk. She slept soundly the whole night.

---

A few weeks had passed, and she settled in and got work in the gardens. Babe returned, and was no longer gone for more than a few hours, though often several times a day. She had gotten many friends and even met very few of her kind.
