The Storm King.


He wanted world peace. His country swallowed by the ocean below, drowned and forgotten for ages to come. He wandered, half-blinded by light and gathering the strength of souls to raise his god from those same waves, ever-weeping, ever changing the surface of the planet. In pain. With patience. So the sea sways and the rains shudder, thunder the lone voice of reason over newer cities and newer dawns. He watched them grow and fall.

But his tale does not end there--not when he banished the blindness from his eyes nor the hatred from his heart. Because the world kept on turning. And the ocean sang and swelled, and he saw at last, with his unclouded eyes, the many reasons to live on.
