Biography
The Therapist
Dandelion's the main therapy dragon. He's been sorely needed for a good while, honestly, but there's been no other dragon with the necessary empathy and emotional strength to take on the myriad of problems the Sanctuary's residents and temps have. Appa came close, but he's not professionally trained like Dandelion is. Appa and Dandelion have become good friends, especially with Dandelion taking on the cases that are, um, a bit to close to home for Appa.
Dandelion's very good at projecting a jovial, warm aura that makes him feel trustworthy. Happy the cat-dragon is a friend and coworker, like Appa, but Happy acts as a therapy cat that can talk through problems with a patient. Dandelion's hypnotic abilities are the best of the resident Veilspun, but he only uses them in therapy sessions with consent. It's his last resort as a therapy method.
He had an odd psychology practice going for a while, "appearing" to dragons in Wispwillow Grove who sorely needed his help. He'd hide himself, and let his magic yellow Mith illusion do the talking and counseling. Kirin had been very surprised to meet her Mith therapist for realsies after the veils came out of hiding. Dandelion had helped her through the worst of her post-assassin-life recovery, as Verdant's cottage was placed at the border of Light and Shadow's Grove when the two first met.
