umwFr9h.gif History
In January 2021, the Foundation began to receive strange incident reports. Dragons would die suddenly, with no apparent cause and their bodies would disappear seconds later. On February 13, an imperial died in this manner, with its body disappearing seconds later. This launched a huge investigation to find the imperial's body and dispose of it properly, to prevent another Emperor incident. This led to the finding of several more cases of mysterious deaths. A dragon could be alive one moment and dead the next, leaving behind no body or clues to the murders. In April, the Foundation's arcane branch located a clan harboring anomalies, among them 320: The Gravedigger.

The Gravedigger, known to us as 320 and to his clanmates as Spider, is a male Fae of unknown element. He always wears a black hooded cloak that hides his eyes, which seem to glow an unnatural white color not fitting with any element. He also carries a kerosine lantern and a copper shovel, dubbed 320-1 and it seems to be able to dig incredibly quickly and will not break. It is this shovel which 320 uses to dig graves. The graves 320 digs are normal at first, but when he makes the headstone he carves the names of living dragons into the headstone. The dragon whose name is written will die in exactly 24 hours from when the carving was finished. The dragon's body will then appear in the grave where 320 will bury the body. 320 can kill from any distance and has shown a capability to choose how and when a victim will die by writing the details on the tombstone within the 24 hours before the victim dies. This led to the discovery of many more killings attributed to 320.

These properties make 320 hard to contain as he never stops digging. He does not seem to need water or food, but fae eat insects so he may be eating bugs from the ground as he digs graves. If 320-1 is removed from 320's possession, the shovel will appear at his side within minutes. When the shovel is removed, 320 will scratch at the walls in his chamber, run around furiously, and emit high pitched screeching. 320 is capable of intelligent speech but is generally taciturn and he prefers to work in silence and gets more violent and agitated when his environment is noisy. When agitated the subject will exhibit pattern A behavior, which consists of digging empty graves and incribing tombstones for living dragons. When especially agitated, 320 will kill researchers and personnel. The only way to prevent death after the tombstone is written is to destroy the headstone and bury a makeshift doll in the grave. When dead bodies or bones are present, 320 will exhibit pattern B behavior. In pattern B, 320 digs graves as usual but only to bury the remains present. In this pattern any dead animal will do, but dragon remains are preferred by the creature, otherwise he seems to go back to pattern A out of boredom.
naturev4.png Information
Containment Level // = doesn't try to actively escape
--Containment Procedures // Containment depends on keeping a stable pattern B behavior in anomaly 320. He is to be kept in a quiet corner of the Tourmaline Archives crypts and provided with a continuous supply of dragon and beastclan bones or corpses. 320 is guarded by two of the gaoler task force 17, who monitor and keep 320 contained. In the event of a containment breach the exits to the crypt where 320 currently is kept are locked with metal containment doors. The creature's chambers are artificially made tunnels lined with metal sheets to keep 320 from tunneling out. He doesn't attempt to escape unless provoked by loud noise or the removal of 320-1, his shovel. He is allowed to dig graves as this behavior cannot be reliably inhibited.
Update: Containment procedures have remained the same but the subject has been moved to a Facility in The Fortress of Ends.

Danger Level// = dangerous, but not capable of world ending destruction
-- Challenges // Can kill from any distance using only a dragon's name and face and can also choose a time and method of death.

Occupation // OCCUPATION

Role // ROLE IN CLAN

Personality // 320 is a taciturn dragon, and doesn't speak much if at all. He is laid back and is not bothered by dead creatures or the act of killing. He is rarely intentionally aggressive and his killings seem to be compelled by some force rather than intentional acts of violence. He is a hard-working methodical anomaly and appears to have antisocial tendencies. He becomes angry when his shovel is taken from him or when there is loud or continuous noise. This may be attributed to possible sensory issues which may explain his preference to be alone. He is of average intelligence or possibly above average intelligence. He cannot verbalize well enough to hold an intelligent conversation, but can read and write as well as design artistic patterns often depicting death or bones. He seems to have extrasensory knowledge of dragon's names and faces, which allows him to kill dragons he does not know of as well as those he knows. He seems to think he is some minor death diety or "force brings balance, life is countered by death. I hold death... life is for others" as said in his words. He likes to 'play' with the carcasses he is given and prefers dead creatures to living ones. In one experiment, a living satin pocketmouse was released into his enclosure. He screeched at the mouse, growing angrier until he smashed it dead with his shovel.
-- Likes // Silence, Dead things, balance
-- Dislikes // 320-1's absence, Only animal carcasses, Noise, other dragons

Quotes:"Dragons, make to much noise, quiet is good, still and cold. Dead dragons better than living ones."
"I serve only balance. Death is needed, life is not. Into the rot we all go. You next" (It is worth noting that after this interview 320 attempted to kill the researcher, but was foiled by the destruction of the tombstone)
"Bones pretty and smooth. Or rough. Bones will tell me your life. I can see your life in the pretty bones"

Overview //
-- Head 320 researcher: // Anomaly 320 is possesses dangerous properties that allow him to kill any dragon from great distance by carving their name on a tombstone. He can be contained and sated with dragon bones, which is how he is currently contained at Site 17. 320 has a generally calm disposition and is considered only a mild threat to his keepers.
