Gaolers are known for their power and danger. The guardians of dangerous prisoners for centuries, many have trouble seeing past the horns and claws. However, no dragon species is entirely comprised of similar minded dragons, Gaolers included. There are always outliers, dragons estranged from their heritage in some manner of the word.

Waterblossom is one such dragon. Where other Gaolers would align themselves with an order, Waterblossom wandered alone. Fairly early in life, she abandoned Gaoler tradition and instead followed in her father’s footsteps and became, for lack of a better word, a cryptid. True to her name, Waterblossom often lurked in brooks, streams, and rivers to no particular end. She enjoys crafting intricate rock statues from the stones in the riverbed, often making them into homes for small wildlife. Beyond that, her days are spent swimming lazily in the cool waters of the rivers, or playing childish pranks on passing strangers.

Though Waterblossom does not often interact with other dragons, on the occasions she does choose to reveal herself to she has shown herself to be a kindhearted dragon. With a soft voice, witty sense of humor, Waterblossom tends to get on the good side of dragons quite easily, though her tendency to disappear easily makes becoming her friend more difficult than it seems. Still, Waterblossom is a social dragon and quite enjoys the company of others, though in a quieter way than most extroverts.
