Experiences I've wandered relatively far from my usual travel routes but I do suppose it was time to dare venturing through Plague. It was... as the name suggests and I could not say I was too impressed with, well, anything there. Of note: I did pass a collective group of Banescales that did not set me at ease. If their leader's snarl was any warning, I believe I wandered a little too close to their hovel or home. I did not wish to stay longer than needed but I was pleasantly surprised once the confusion cleared. The green and black dragon (Kratos, I believe his name was) was polite and offered assistance in guiding me out of their territory and onwards out of the Plague Lands. --- I came upon a Clan led by a Guardian known as Evernia who welcomed me in for a time. But it was not her that truly intrigued me, it was the fellow Gaolers I saw coming and going. Some seemed to be permanent residents of the Clan, but others wandered freely in the surrounding forest. I spoke with many of them, spent time learning their stories. Tiarella was all too happy to share about the other Gaolers around, she could talk anyone's ear off I'm sure. She also spoke highly about her first clutch of children that had been sent out into the world. Most seemed to serve the deities, and one had not quite found her path yet. Children had never been something I had considered...but perhaps there was something to be said for having them. It had been so long since I had been out in the world, and there was certainly no way I could explore it all. So perhaps the next generation could. I found a willing Gaoler, a storm-chasing female known as Saivrun. She warned me that she wasn't interested in a long-term relationship, and I was quick to assure her that I too would be moving on with my life. This was merely an experiment. That resulted in me staying far longer than I had planned. It felt...right. To be there amongst the Gaolers. To guard the eggs. To see the comings and goings of a Clan where all were welcome. And when the eggs hatched, I hoped I would feel just as at home. Instead, I felt afraid. I felt small. Who was I to think I could guide these lives? Guard these lives? We found the male a home as fast as we could, without bothering to name him in the process. Sai had been calling him Bleu, but I doubt it stuck. The girl...was still looking when I left. It hurt more to leave my kind than my new kin. What does that say about me? Perhaps someday I'll find the answers.  --- Add experiences here
