Beetle stumbled across Serpents clan by accident and was put to questioning by the clan leaders but when the other young Veilspun, Ghost, took fascination with Beetle, Serpent allowed him to stay. Ghost and him made the clan their home quickly, helping each other adapt to the new environment and to this day still finding comfort in each others presence.

Ghost and Beetle are not the most naturally gifted leaders but together they make a good team and the other Veilspuns admire them. He not very use to being around other dragons so he can tend to stare or interrupt but never does so with malcontent.

Beetle has a fascination with bugs and loves to collect, play with, and hunt for them. With the help of his familiar Bumi the two are excellent at bringing in bugs for the clan hoard with a couple sneaked away for their own personal collection which, luckily, Ghost doesn’t mind.

Beetle and Ghost’s living space is similar to a nest, with twigs and cotton filling a very large hollow tree and shelves all around the inside to house Beetles bugs and other trinkets.

“Ok so perhaps I didn’t catch-catch it but I sure got real close! It was just a normal day hunting in the northern part of out territory when my partner in crime Bumi squealed, and there was a huge shadow that flew over us. I only saw it for a second but I’m 100% sure it was a huge bug. We chased it, set up nets, came close like a million times but weren't so lucky. Ok weirdest thing though, after coming back home I heard one of our coli team members, his name is Dragonfly, talking about how there were crazy monsters in the north woods trying to catch him, I feel like I would have seen if there were any crazy monsters but whatever.”

Fade looks sooooo good when it's used right and I always love seeing it, so I just had to point out Beetle! The beetle gene I've rarely seen and actually liked, so it's real cool to see both of them working so well together. The beetle pink matching with the pink in the fade, beautiful. Anyway I love Beetle he is so cute with their familiar
