Lustre

Crashing to the ground again for the....oh who's kidding, Lustre had lost count ages ago. She ached all over and was close to giving up, but not just yet. Rising from the ground and dusting herself up she sensed the presence of another and turned towards a hooded fellow Skydancer, the herbs in her hand seeming forgotten as she felt herself assessed from head to toe in a flicker of expert eyes. Admiration blossomed in her chest. Where she came from strength, muscle and combat skill were prized above all else. Always the warriors staking their claims to victory. Never a thought for the healers who worked diligently and tirelessly at their sides. This dragon before her was impressive, knowledgeable and kind. Something Lustre herself strived to become.
"I...I think I'm okay," she admitted with a grimace. She flexed her wings and stretched her limbs to make sure she spoke truth, then gave a sheepish smile to the healer before her as she admitted, "I got caught in a rougher gale than I realized. It quite turned me upside-down. My name is Lustre," she introduced herself.
The dragon before her assessed her again, perhaps not so much physically this time, but as if she was looking for....something. What this was, Lustre didn't know, but the dragon seemed satisfied and extended her claws in greeting. "I am Dove. Healer to the clan here." A final assessment and a slight head nod later, Dove spoke again. "Let us find Vaun. He may seem...unpleasant, but he's a good leader and he'll allow you a place here if you're deemed worthy enough and capable enough to bring a skill to the clan." Dove gathered her herbs and returned the way she came, leaving Lustre to follow. And without a second thought, thats exactly what she did. Wondering what fate had in store for her and just how bad this Vaun could be.
