A distraught spirit that haunts a part of the distance reaches of the Southwind's territory, the spirit has been given the nickname "Mirage". Not much of its origins are known. It appears to once have been a female Skydancer but the shambling movement and the rags covering its body make it difficult to tell exactly what it once was. The foul mist that accompanies the spirit doesn't make it any easier to gather information on it. But one thing's for certain; it's distraught and looking for something. Or someone. It doesn't always move about; the usual times it is active is late night to early mornings. Distressed wails, sometimes accompanied by a crack of thunder, can be heard now and then while it moves about. If you listen carefully, it almost sounds like a name or a word.. but you can never hear exactly what it is. For most part, the spirit doesn't go around blindly attacking those around it. It only attacks those who either approaches it or stands in the way of its shambling path. While it doesn't initially move quick, its irregular movements become lightning-fast and deadly as soon as it sees anything as a threat. It's highly adviced to stay a good distance away from the spirit should you find it. Fortunately, it always travels the same path: the borders between the Cloudscrape Crags and the Reclaimer's Glacier. |

As the dragon is dead and all that remains is a restless spirit, it's impossible to simply ask the origins of the spirit. But there are speculations. Considering the appearance and other clues, it appears to once have been a female Skydancer of the Lightning Flight. Its eyes have never been seen though. |
