Xerxes is a workaholic with his face pushed in his paperwork nearly 24/7. He's nervous and shy, and keeps to himself, but otherwise he has a nice personality. Essentially the stereotypical nerd with the glasses to match.

upbringing:
His childhood was typical - he was raised by both parents, who had both loved him and each other very much. However, they were obsessed with their work and had very little time to spend outside of that work - they had office jobs and were frequently bringing their paperwork and stress home with them.

Due to this, he was already acclimated to being obsessive over his own work, and wanting nothing more than to be just as his parents had taught him. He got into the same line of work, accounting and administrative paperwork, the second he was really able to.

He had previously been set in postage and then moved into bank telling, before deciding that he'd like more of a challenge. Ebrill and him had met while she was trying to get her money sorted to work out a way to buy Highland Post, with her eventually taking him in as an in-house accountant before he eventually worked his way up into project and financial management for the ranch.

He is still an incredibly young man who stresses himself out by sheer numbers and not much else, and Ebrill has to constantly remind him to take breaks and to take care of himself. He can be found often running around his office, wearing circles into the wooden flooring and mulling over some paper.

on the ranch:
His job deals with keeping track of money, any possible debt, and managing and large-scale / expensive projects around the ranch.

trivia:
  • he does not really "hang out," especially not with anyone on the ranch. ebrill is the closest friend he has.
