"You call that good music?"
Maakal has a dream. He wants to travel the world playing music and teaching them how it should really sound. Most days that is just gonna be that, a dream. He'll keep trying, a lot of the locals keep encouraging him. Sometimes he even thinks about going to Pithya to see if it'll happen, but he's to afraid that it won't and he would at least like to pretend it will.

Maakal aquired his dream from watching his dad play from his hatchling years. Every night, after a story from his mom, he would play them a lullaby. Soft and sweet, and send them off to dreamland. His dad has always loved him, and things like that made it obvious. Even throughout his mom and dads' falling out, he never felt unloved by the two.

He isn't the only musician in his family, as his sister Pallonia also decided to become one. She more prefers playing folk music, a direct contrast to the rock and alternative music he prefers to play. They even tried to make a band together once, but due to their taste in music, there was barely any lift off.
His other sister, Persephone, went on to serve under the Shadowbinder, but he visits when she's off duty from time to time.
