FLYNN ▰▰▰ lunar king about. Flynn is a prince with a calm soul, always ebbing and flowing with the wishes of cassius castle and manages the many inscrutable elements of its surrounding territoty. They have incredible shadow & moon magic potential that he can harness in a number of ways— whose the consequences can pile high. Flynn's power grew over time, and he became an excellent duellist, able to spar with most any foe. He's always struggled with runic structures, sure, but protective rituals don't quite matter if you can slam anything that threatens you into mush. Most of the time, Flynn is left alone by the shadows that have plagued his life. However, he once again has failed to notice their movements- how they coalesce in the middle of the night, and trail off deep into the castle. Something lurks down there. Something that wants control once more. backstory. Flynn awoke to vicious screaming from the next room over. His clouded mind half thought it was his parents absently laughing at a book or some other entertainment, at first. When it clicked for him, he threw his covers to the side. He tried the doorknob to their parent's room— no luck. He knocked furiously against his parent's door, throwing his whole weight against it to no avail. His body felt like a pile of rags at the end, held together by tendons ripped raw by the wooden door. He cried and cried as their parent's screams turned to whimpers, then to a soul-crushing silence. But then, he heard the creaking of the door as it so subtly opened. Flynn flew into the dark room... If you asked Flynn how he remembered the night, he would say something about finding the window broken in while his parents laid peacefully on the ground, a single knife in their backs. He certainly wouldn't remember how mangled their corpses truly were. Or how the window wasn't broken in the first place. Or how darkness permeated every corner of the room and formed arms like tree roots that stemmed from just underneath the little Wildclaw.
