Ebb

Ebb is a tiny butterfly dragon who was raised among a colony of Veilspun deep in the Tangled Wood. He returned to their home one day to find the entrance to the insect dragon clan barred shut. Hurt and confused, Ebb found their way to a bustling village of much larger dragons, where they nestled to rest in a soft patch of grass that turned out to be a traveler's mane. One thing led to another, and the tiny dragon ended up a stowaway on a flight over the Sea of a Thousand Currents!

All it took was an abrupt turn and a gust of salty wind, and Ebb was jostled from his perch, falling down to the water's surface. His tiny wings flapped hard enough to slow his momentum at the last second, but his short stamina was already draining. With no other choice, Ebb flapped his wings as hard as he could toward a tall outcropping of rock, the flat tip of which was a dry respite from the waves battering the rock from all sides. Ebb strained to reach the top of the rock, and when he safely landed on its warm surface, he quickly drifted off to sleep after being denied so long.
