______ Apollo was born in the network and his natural loyalty and protective nature made him an ideal security guard, particularly for their less combat inclined stained ones, as they are more ment to run things behind than fight. But Apollo doesn't mind being a meat shield, happy to be a friendly face and guard for his fellow Ichors.

______ "Morning Apollo, how was your evening yesterday?"

Monolith greeted the security dragon who gave him a beaming smile. Apollo was always good for a ray of sunshine on a bad morning.

"I had a great evening actually! Hey you see the match between my niece and Fiore? She did really well! I'm super proud of her!"

Monolith could feel his bad mood from waking up in pain start to fade with Apollo's infectious good mood as he babbled about how well his niece Achilles had done in her arena match the night before. It was needed and Monolith could feel the smile creeping onto his face, not able to get rid of it as he and Apollo chatted.

"I'm so looking forward to dinner tonight, Set's stopping by to see Solstice and Achilles. It's great to have my brother in law with us, even for just a day or two y'know?"

"I can imagine, I'm glad Achilles gets to see her dad, I hear he's super busy as a guardian."

"Yeah, but he always sends letters when the courier comes through. Not the same but he's trying!"

"More than I'm sure most Carnage Ichors can say about their interactions with their kids."

"Oh I definitely agree. I better letcha get to work, chat later Monolith!"

"Yup, later Apollo!"

As Monolith entered to begin his work day, the good mood lingered, making the day just a bit better.
