Biography

To think all of creation was due to a savage beast....
~A Rival God~

Born one of many among an infectious and swarming species. From birth, the strong eat their weak brothers and sister to survive. Genjus met the unfortunate fate of being the runt of the litter. His mother met a worse fate and gave birth in the middle of a battlefield. The warring factions met the worst fate of all. A fiery passion bloomed in the melee. A passion so bright and so strong, not even the flowing rivers of blood, that consumed nature herself, could quench it. And this passion consumed all the fading lights around it, until it was an enormous flame. Not even half a day passed and one species went extinct, while they other only had one survivor. It was not luck that he survived. It was not the will of the universe that let him survive. Even as death's claws clenched around his throat as he breached his egg, nothing could stop from him surviving. For a God was born on the battlefield that day.

His kin were numerous and savage. Their numbers ever increasing to point they caused the collapse of the world pillars. Genjus knew his fate was among the stars, and the only way to achieve that goal was to survive. And how does his species survive? They consume and grow. He consumed his kin. He consumed the rival species. And as the world died, he consumed its core. The pinnacle of dragon evolution.

But the flesh is weak and the mind is willing. Even an apex predator has its limits. With no prey left, how does one survive? By finding more. World by world were consumed by Genjus, his hunger for power and survival blinding him to the infinite skies. Dragons of unknown potentials and species that break our concept of reality would only last seconds before their kin became extinct under his fang and claw. That was until he met Isabella. A guardian that exhausted everything to stop his advance on her world. Her tenacity, her ferocity, her compassion, and most importantly her love broke the savage chains around Genjus's heart. His fiery passion was no longer the wildfire that set out to eat the universe. It became the beacon of light in the darkness.

Even before his conversion, he could feel the universe being torn asunder around him. Not because of his doing, but rather it was just time. The heat death of the universe was approaching. The cycle was to begin anew. The natural gods of old began to leave the universe, ascending to planes beyond imagination to prepare for the next cycle. But how could gods just abandoned their followers? Are they not supposed to bring them to salvation? They are no god if they can only save themselves. Upon this realization, Genjus burned brighter than ever before. He would survive, and now this time, he had to make sure his family survived as well. To escape a dying universe, almost all your divinity would be need to be consumed to breach into the next plane. At that point of release a god is at their most vulnerable. Most gods have already escaped this dying realm, but not the demiurge. He stayed to watch the universe crumble, as is his tradition for aeons. His hubris would not let him see the rising threat, as how could a being of flesh possibly make a god bleed? By removing their flesh and embracing glorious mechanical evolution!

With his sheer will of survival, and the most refined biological and divine technology in his possession, Genjus would go on to purify the demiurge's essences, refining it to a point where his family would be able to pierce the veil and enter the new universe. However, that was not enough for Genjus. He will survive anything, and what better way to survive the heat death cycle, then to prevent it all together. His universe was nothing more than a decaying corpse, and through consuming the last of it and channeling his new divine might. This new universe would be one of his design, his will, his passion.

Little have you known, but the air we breathe and the ground we walk on, all were made by him and belong to him.
