so star is botw link, of course, except au. mostly the au is just that he befriends the yiga clan into not wanting to murder him anymore (he and varian fall in love and its a whole thing) uhh its been forever so i forgot most of it. at some point he gets (aoc spoilers) sucked into the past to meet aoc link, hence the "i could never live up to you" OH YEAH hes having an identity crisis (probably at least somewhat about the falling in love with a member of the yiga clan) bc he never gets any of his memories back so everyone just calls him star because... hes not link. also he really likes space :)

in a linked universe situation would be friends with breeze (my au wind)

SPEAKING OF WIND, my hc is that botw takes place in the adult timeline but with hyrule warriors heckery bringing in stuff from the other timelines. botw hyrule is the spirit tracks area.

OH OHOHOH I JUST REMEMBERED. one of the other main things is that star got, like, mauled by a lynel or something and is blind in his left eye. so to prevent the assassins who are/were after his life [not to mention monsters in general] from realizing that/taking advantage of it he wears a cool mask with a star-shaped opening.
also he has a guide who is a purple iguana named constellation. xe's chill

also the white horse is named Yogurt and is. some manner of recurring character in The Lore. the lupine of horses.
