Kennedy

Born and raised on the island Kalani to Queen Kay'ori Koi, Kennedy's childhood years were spent there with their sister's Princesses Leilani Koi and NightSky, until Kennedy eventually left the island to Etherea, and forwent the royal title and claim to the throne, to start a new life and destiny of their own making and not one assigned by birthright. Though, despite the disinheritance, the island natives still consider Kennedy as a Royal.

The Adventurer / Pirate Fae Years

Kennedy took to the seas and traveled around the world. They visited various places and met different groups of people. One such adventure took them to the desert expanse where they met Rowan. Many a land pirate that sails the great expanse of desert sands may end up perishing under the hot, unyielding sun. It burns, blisters, and boils, and there isn't a drop to drink to soothe thy drying dying throat. With no Oasis insight, getting lost in these rolling, shifting, hills of sand, many meet their exalted maker. Those old, remaining bones of the desert's victims that remain, shriveled, brittle, and buried in the great mother Earth sometimes come crawling back when the great winds uncover their skeletons. These poor pirate phantoms, left with only one goal in life remaining before they can truly pass on to their exalted mothers and fathers, to seek water.

Luckily, Kennedy didn't meet such a fate. Their fae powers made it so they could create water from sweat or any moisture that happened to be in the air at the time. This wasn't much but it kept them going until Rowan lead them to the various Oasis that dotted the desert.

Eventually, Kennedy settled down and moved to Etherea, where they later became the council's nature representative. They also help their fellow co-worker Poseidon in his fields.

NightSky Koi-Spirit: Little Sister & Best Friend within the Family Leilani Koi: Sister Rowan: Friend Poseidon: Friend & Co-Worker Eleri: Friend

NightSky is Kennedy's youngest sibling. The two felt like they had the most in common within their family. Both choose to go on separate paths away from their home island and tour the world. NightSky left home at a young age to explore the music of the world, vising clubs, concerts, and the like, which eventually culminated in her joining the band Surreal Sights and continuing touring the world with them. Kennedy supported their sister whenever they could or happened to be in the same area; visiting her and going to her concerts, as well as being NightSky's special person, who walked her down the aisle and stood at her side when she married her wife, the love of her life and fellow band member, Shadow Spirit. --- Leilani is one of Kennedy's sisters. Unlike Kennedy and their other sister NightSky, Kennedy and Leilani aren't that close. They both grew up together on Kalani but despite growing up in the same environment, the two just had different interests and desires in life. While Kennedy and NightSky left home, Leilani stayed behind and just became more engrained in royal duties while her siblings carved out their own lives in freedom. Now that Leilani is away from home and in Etheria, will this lead to them reconnecting? So far, the siblings don't seem that entirely interested. So it looks like a no. --- Rowan and Kennedy are close friends. Rowan is a desert nomad who is an Ethera clan representative for the far-off natives. They met during Kennedy's time traveling the world like an adventurer, though more specifically, while Kennedy was exploring the Great Desert. Rowan made sure Kennedy survived the trip as he guided him through the desert and showed Kennedy where all the various Oasis were. --- Kennedy spends some of their free time hanging out and helping Poseidon in matters dealing with the ocean and astronomy. Posideon tends to have a full plate with so many roles in the Council, that Kennedy tends to assist him to help him out. Kennedy likes the work. It reminds them of their traveling days, navigating the sea by the stars. Besides the nostalgic factor, Kennedy really does manage to help Posideon, because of their lived-through experience with the subjects first hand. --- Due to spending a lot of time with Posideon, Kennedy is acquaintances with Eleri, who is Posideon's best friend. Kennedy and Eleri casually spend time together, usually chatting and/or eating at Ginger's bakery or Kalizor's jam shop or watching a movie, though typically when they hang out it's only when all three of them are together as a group. They do occasionally spend time just the two of them but not often.
