"Tempus fugit, time flies. And I'm left with the scraps of fate and history."

Clockwork cares not about the "affairs of the realm", as she would say. She has things to write, knowledge to record, history to archive, stories to preserve, letters to scribble down and by the gods, pages to fill! Why her, and why this? This Coatl believes with all her heart that this is a task she was given since a hatchling, bestowed by Lightweaver herself, to write down everything that she knows, and others know, and what she and others do, at any second. Something about "keeping a track of fate"? Staying ahead of prophecies? No one is really sure, and even Clockwork herself already forgot the details. That doesn't stop her from trying to complete it, though. And once her books are filled with all the knowledge of all of Sornieth, well.
