Hatched only days before the renowned holiday known as Night of The Nocturne, Kipper developed a lifelong obsession with mystery, tricks and the unnatural. Exposed to high concentrations of various kinds of magic at such a young age stunted their growth, causing them to keep a childish appearance. This gave them the perfect excuse to act as their perceived age, playing tricks and asking incessant questions to any dragon who would listen. They tend to prefer company of the tricky forest creatures they grew up amongst as opposed to other dragons. They speak an odd amalgam of languages, borrowing words from Draconic, various Beastclans, birds, and canine. Punctuating sentences with various chirps, yips, and trills. It takes a gifted (and patient) dragon to be able to fully understand them.
Kipper tends to know much more than they let on. Their childish demeanour and appearance means that most dragons tend to dismiss them, leaving them in the perfect position to gather secrets and knowledge to their heart's content. Stalking through the trees of the Tangled Woods, watching with wide, fascinated eyes, perfectly blending into the dark foliage and bright mushrooms, it is never certain whether anybody wandering through the woods is being watched by wide, bright eyes.
