A flicker of light awoke a small Veilspun, his branches bloomed elegant roses, a fragrance that was citrus, and violet. As the Veilspun laid on the soft grass, fresh dewdrops dripped from the grass blades. Bees and butterflies fluttered around him, landing on his branches.
Butternut was his name, he was described as sweet as a butternut squash and since than it has stuck.
He seemed rather lazy, but he enjoyed watching the wildlife go by.
