Gard

Gard has been a wild and independent adventurer for most of his life. Quick to anger but also to laugh, he feels his emotions strongly and follows his impulses without feeling the need to think things through. Why waste time thinking when you could be off doing? Although he groups up with other dragons to fight monsters occasionally, he never sticks around for long.

A chance encounter with a Mantarune left Gard injured and wondering he had performed well enough in life for one of the gods to accept him into Valhalla... but fortunately, Larel and Celia happened to have witnessed his ill-fated battle and, impressed, they took him home to the Mistral Militia Workshop to recover. Life in the air on the ever-moving platforms of the lair took some getting used to, and he was ambivalent about staying longer than it took to say "thanks for saving my life."

Then he met Eliezer. And much like a Guardian first laying eyes on their charge, Gard was smitten. No longer bound to chase the clouds across the open world, scrapping and feasting and surviving on his wits, he is determined to stay at Eliezer's side until he perishes.

Now the question is how one such as he might impress such a learned, gentle soul...
