Sparklee is easily excited and always looking to make new discoveries, especially if it involves his mate, Shinee, or birds. Birds are Sparklee's greatest love, and he's an accomplished bird nerd - er, ornithologist, even though he's highly allergic to feathers, as well as partially blind.

Sparklee was born in the Naps Clan, and all the clan members admired his lovely color-coordination and asked him to stay. He was more than thrilled to stick around, and took to following Shinee like a lost puppy, and Shinee insisted on accompanying Sparklee on his birdwatching journeys, saying his 'noodly butt needed protecting,' though Sparklee thinks he could probably take care of himself.

However, it took a long time for the familiar to warm up to anyone else, including Shinee, who is even more overprotective than Kora (and Shinee was here first). With care from the Clan’s Familiar Trainer (yours truly), the Eyewing has grown to love the clan as a whole, and now works with Shinee to ensure Sparklee’s safety (cus darnit, that drake sure can get into trouble).
