Gazu is a young dragon, learning the ways of magic under Kurimu's watch. She is bright and picks up on things very quickly, though isn't very confident in her abilities. She continuously doubts herself despite having impressed her mentor time and time again.Gazu has no interest in offspring, or romantic relations much in general. She spends more time engrossed in scrolls and old texts than interacting with the dragons she's surrounded herself with all her life.

She works alongside Kurimu, Qievi, Angler, and Rue.
She is kind and constantly tries her best to be good to those around her. Gazu has put herself up to an expectation of doing one good deed each day, and she holds herself accountable if she feels she didn't meet said expectation. Kurimu is trying to get her to break this habit, and it seems to have stressed Gazu out a bit with constantly finding something good to do, but her efforts thus far have been futile.

Gazu happened upon a Wicker Dragon while she was collecting stones, and befriended it quickly. She decided to name it Haystack, as it resembles one, and she thought it'd be a cute name. She's cautious with Haystack and makes sure that none of her friends use fire around it in fear of it causing harm to the Wicker Dragon.
