He is the ethereal child of Veeridiah and Charcoale, and magic and fire both burn in his blood. He is a mysterious trickster, a Glamourkin, and his spells are wild and powerful, though belied by his nervous nature.

Arkana always believed he belonged with the Faerie Circus, and with her mother Titania's blessing, convinced her cousin to come join them. Gossamer's desertion of the Clan of the Green Lady wounded his mother Veeridiah deeply, though she still holds him tightly in her heart and waits for the day when the Clan and the Circus might join together once more.
