Long ago, she passed away of a fever; unable to accept the loss of her daughter, Titania sought Veeridiah out to demand she summon the Necromancer, Oleander, that they might reverse Arkana's death.

And so it was done, though that touch of the afterlife has changed Arkana irreversibly.

Her parents chose not to divulge the story of her death and subsequent rebirth to her; when she later in life met Oleander, she found herself drawn to them in a very strange way. She has perhaps misinterpreted this feeling as love. Maybe one day she will learn the truth, from her parents, Oleander, or otherwise...
