  • Through his own view Crypt would say he loves a lot of people, but through the eyes of others he is incapable of love. His 'love' is sick, toxic, deadly. Ravenous. He's easily infatuated and becomes violently obsessed with his new interest, and once you're in his crosshairs you're already dead. He wants every moment of attention and becomes attached at the hip to his lovers, if he has even a slight inclination he isn't on his interest's mind constantly or that they're dividing their attention he becomes agitated and vicious until they cave and give him what he wants, breaking down their will over a short time period. But as one does with toys, he will eventually get bored or find someone else he wants, but he cannot bear the thought of his ensnared prey moving on or getting away...
  • There isn't anything more cathartic to him than stealing away the life of his lovers, not having to spend any more mental energy on them is a relief on his frayed mind. Depending on how he's feeling he'll either consume the remains or just leave them to be, but he always claims their heart as a trophy. If one were to snoop around his lair, they may find a hidden room filled to the brim with preserving jars containing hearts of varying sizes, each one lovingly labeled with a name.
  • However, his murders aren't just for the convenience of tying up loose ends, he does gain more than a little peace of mind with each life he takes. True to his Title, Crypt siphons the lifeforce of his victims as they die, leaving the hollow remains of their soul to wander, lost. And with each death, he has a few dozen years added to his natural lifespan and a temporary boost to his magical abilities. He's long since stopped keeping count of how old he is or how much longer he has to live, it's irrelevant to him, because he knows his next object of affection is just a few encounters away.
  • Outside his 'romantic' life, Crypt is constantly teetering between flirtatiously suave and maliciously snarky. He can't keep a friend due to his constant complaining, back stabbing, and generally distasteful disposition, not that he likes having friends anyways.
