 He wasn't supposed to be a living being, not quite. You see his egg in the nest had lost its glow, it faded during incubation. However having parents who weren't exactly dragons, had made certain he would live. How so? His mother was a banshee, his father well - it was rumored he was possibly a demon summoned by her, but he wouldn't know exactly. Both had kept their secrets hidden even from the hatchlings themselves, yet he could see a dual aspect to both of them. See he wasn’t born but brought back, his mother had performed a dark ritual upon a full moon, it was heard by whatever being she had spoken or called to because he had broken out of his shell, alive and normal as well as perfectly healthy but the only noticeable feature on him was the bright moon runes that ran along his form. They would dull over the different phases of the moon but upon a full moon hey would illuminate once more. |

He had saw the other dragons of this strange clan, how they were fearful even intimidated by his parents. His mother had a few nasty habits that he had spotted - She was cruel and ruthless to those who would dare harm any of his brothers or sisters. His father was unforgiving and terrifying, but when alone he had noticed near close 'uncles' or beloved friends of his parents they were loving, and kind. It took him a back for a few moments but in the end he strove for that. He wanted to keep those emotions and how their nature was. When he had grown large enough to be on his own he took his leave and left to fly the wastelands, it was here he had found his new home. He was welcomed by an intimidating imperial such as himself but commanded respect. So he gave respect to him, however he served as the Empire's guards. To other dragons he was scary and imposing but to his fellow guards and maybe the odd hatchling he was kind and warm to them. Yet if any tried to break laws he was ruthless and terrifying to content with and this is how he sought to keep his rank.
