Biography

dragon?did=65558445&skin=37162&apparel=20161,24519,42029,14106,26876&xt=dressing.pngHow do dragons fly? Most seem to have wingspans that would indicate they can't, but here are some theories I have found or created that I like as explanations.

For starters, wind and arcane dragons have magic that increases there flight abilities. Wind can manipulate air currents while arcane can float.

Now breed specific ideas.

Snappers in general can't fly. I think this is confirmed by lore. Their have been theories that it might be possible for wind and arcane snappers to have limited flight.

A theory I found about wildclaws (I forget who came up with it) said that wildclaws are capable of only minimal flight/gliding and instead generally jump through the branches of the jungle.

Mirrors can only make short flights due to their metabolism in canon.

I personally think veilspuns fly similar to the way bees fly, relying on the speed of their wingbeats instead of the size of their wings.

Gaolers are probably similar to snappers in being land-bound.
