The best forager and scavenger in the Sanctuary. Her knack for finding things is uncanny, and the manner of objects she sometimes finds are downright mystical.

Talva, a fellow forager, holds a grudge towards her in regards to it.

No, the true grudge that Shard maintains is towards Aulus the Witch, her father (who is also a witch, Shard swears by it) and anyone else she considers to be complicit in what happened to her father Hwadam. She would never do anything to them, she's smarter than revenge... but she will forever refuse to do business with Audemus (and obviously Aulus, although most dragons tend to do that anyway) just on principle. Her father had his flaws, but seeing your loved ones turned into meat puppets tends to leave a bit of a bad impression.

...Oskari's okay though. They brew the best cup of coffee. The two have spent their fair share of quality time together, but they're not actually anything. And Oskari is rooting for Talva and Shard to get together anyway.
