A ridgeback who uses her tunneling nature in pursue of rare gemstones and other archeological discoveries. Zem is a goofy, somewhat airheaded dragon, but when she hyperfocuses on her gem collection, or on gems in general, there is no knocking her out of that. Though more interested in gems and rare stones than fossils, trinkets, and other unrelated things, she is no less happy when coming accross them. She simply delights in finding cool and interesting stuff- but again, gems are her speciality, and her favorite finds.

She has a somewhat strange pattern on her scales that stands out among the rest of dragonkind. It's unknown if she was born with it, or if it came to be with aging, but either way, her story of how she got it seems to change every time she is asked about it.

Zem's part of the lair is filled to the brim with gems, all lovingly displayed in glass cases, with the information about what they are, where they were found, and what magical properties they may have written down next to each and every single one of them. Though often gone from the clan to dig for more stuff, she makes sure each and every gem in her collection is well taken care of.

Her favorite gems in particular are sardonyx, emerald, and malachite. That is to say, of course, she loves all gems a lot, but those three in particular are her absolute favorites. 		frearth_sidebar_long_by_littlefiredragon-dbjxyv0.png
