|Information:

In truth, Sharra never wanted to ascend into the ranks of the Ansolacephir, all she wanted was to keep Alastaire by her side, to evade death with him like she'd heard so many others do. In learning the dark arts required, she read the passages of theories written by her unknown mentor, and her perception shifted so painfully that it was as if the world spat her out of it's reality. With a fear of how small the limits she once knew now were, she confided in the other Skydancer, inadvertently bringing him into her new reality, changing them irreversibly, but accomplishing her quest nonetheless.
She failed to relinquish her mortal worldview when she learned the Truth, and thus is shackled to a false reality that all beings of the Ansolacephir are stuck in. She cannot conceptualize the true neutrality of the universe and clings to her bitterness towards the rest of dragonkind and Fate.
While their situation is less than ideal, she is content for the most part. In a plain with few residents and a lifespan that may never end, she is with Alastaire, the one she loves the most. She feels no need to return to her home plane, her past and everything she once enjoyed abandoned.
While they aren't in danger very often, she's wary of her fellow Ansolacephir beings. With his half mummified body, Alastaire is fragile, and even though she knows he would be reborn the same as any of them, being without him scares her, and she doesn't want him to suffer anymore. She uses her battle prowess from her previous life to defend him from practically everything, whether or not they're a threat.
