PERSONALITY

Malourne is like his mother, always hardworking and preferring solitude. He loves solving mathematical equations and numbers, making him perfect to keep track of the Sanctuary's treasure and gem output/input. Malourne dislikes working with others except his parents or brother, and only works with the Treasurer and Shuraji reluctantly.

ABOUT

History
Malourne was born in the Sanctuary's water branch and raised under Luna’s care. He followed his brother around most of the time which led to Malourne following his mother around. While Aibrean took an interest in noting everything down, Malourne was more interested in the numbers Lillya would save off to the side for later review. He spent much of his childhood stealing those papers to attempt to use them in mathematical formulas, his mother catching him eventually. She didn’t punish him but instead coached him on how to use his math to log treasure and gem transfers in the Sanctuary, only pausing his teaching to send him off in the traditional Sornieth trip with the Troupe. Even then, Malourne still attempted to find ways to practice his math.
Malourne spent his days tutoring under Lillya and helping with logs, eventually earning a role as Minister of Economy. He had full access to all treasure and gem logs the Sanctuary had, and reported daily to Lillya for updated reports.
Currently
Malourne enjoys his days in his personal office, which also houses his small lair in a private cubbyhole in the far wall. He spends most of his days entirely in his lair, only leaving to spend time with family, report to Lillya, or gather new information from shopkeepers or merchants in the Sanctuary. Malourne collects the treasure sales and gem earnings and then quickly leaves, unwilling to interact with many others. His closest friend outside of his brother is Shuraji who is rarely even at the Sanctuary.
