STATS

Azurine is a powerful dragon. Strong and fast, she is regarded as one of the best fighters in the Clan.

Azurine may be stronger and faster than most of the others, but she isn’t extra healthy. Sure, her immune system is better, but she still gets sick and can be injured. She isn’t exactly immortal or invincible, just one of the best warriors.

She is average at magic. Yes, she can cast a few cantrips, maybe a quick portal spell. She can handle magical gimmicks, but otherwise, she can’t do anything way too powerful.

Highly intelligent and a strategist, Azurine is both strong and smart. She prefers to have a balance between the two - both are useful.

Azurine can tell some fairly convincing lies and stories, but they aren’t her strong suit.

Azurine’s luck is more than average, never triggering traps or getting her team members killed.

” Unlike many other dragons in positions of power, Azurine does not need the help of a bodyguard. She’s a very adept fighter, with excellent strategies and even a basic knowledge of magic use and potions. So to be quite frank, she can fend for herself quite well, so hiring a bodyguard would be a waste of both time and treasure.

Azurine always carries around a set of weapons she won from a fight. The opposing dragon had bet she couldn’t beat him, but of course, she soundly did. So he handed over the set of weapons, which Azurine had sharpened and polished. She rarely uses them, as her claws and wit work far better, but in the token situation where she does need them, Azurine will not hesitate to pull out the spear or battle-axe and have a go at her enemy.

Though Azurine spends a lot of her time training or fighting in the coliseum with her team, she always makes time to help rule her clan. She’ll come in from a day of battling, wipe the enemy’s blood off her face and claws, then sit down at the council table as if she hadn’t just gone on a genocidal rampage of ashmane chimeras or hulking greatowls. To sum up Azurine in one sentence; she looks and acts the same whether she’s just killed dragons, monsters, or even nothing at all.

It was dark, the room filled with a faint touch of smoke from the candle Azurine had just put out. She was settled in her bed, trying to get to sleep. But for some reason, she just couldn’t. Like there was some sort of spell on her. Maybe? Who knows.

She got sucked into yet another lively train of thought, which frustrated her as it prevented her from sleeping. Finally, she managed to get her brain to quiet down, and just as she was about to slip into unconsciousness, she heard a creak. Her eyelid shot open and she raised her head slightly, only to see the faint light of the hallway candle seeping into her room. Then suddenly, it went out with a hisss, as if someone had put it out with their claws. Now suspicious, she slowly sank her head back into the pillow and waited.

Before long, a shadow loomed over her, silhouetted slightly by the faint moonlight streaming in from the window. A knife gleamed in it’s outstretched claw. Before the assassin could strike, Azurine lashed her claw out at it, and her heart raced with excitement as it connected. Blood spattered her face as the dragon recoiled in pain, and with a clatter it dropped the knife and clutched it’s eyes.

In an instant, Azurine was out of her bed. She grabbed the knife and with a swift motion of her tail knocked the assassin over, where it continued to writhe in pain on the floor, still miraculously silent.

A mighty good assassin, but not even the greatest can best me.

Azurine stepped on the dragon’s neck, letting her big claw poke slightly into the dragon’s cheek, breaking between the scales and drawing blood. She heard a slight plea, obviously silenced by lack of oxygen. So, as she watched a single drop of blood run down the assassin's bleeding face, leaving a scarlet trail that shone in the moonlight, she moved her claw and slit it’s neck with it’s very own knife.

Once it stopped wriggling, she kicked it’s now lifeless body aside and tossed the knife along with it. Giving her claws a wipe, she hopped back into bed, where she slept soundly for the rest of the night.
