Biography
Váya

↠ Cemetery Groundskeeper
↠ she / they
↠ Cemetery Groundskeeper
Some dragons believe that the clan's cemetery, nestled in the depths of the forest, is haunted. Actually, Váya is the strange shape and noises that some catch a glimpse of at night. She does not like others, and is content to be considered the clan ghost. Even Alalme and Picea aren't sure if she is real or not, though both have caught a glimpse at some point or another.
_____Váya will watch from afar whenever someone comes to visit the clan's cemetery, though visitors aren't common. Alnazar and Actaea are the one's she sees most of. Alnazar comes to visit familiars that have passed away, whilst Actaea seems only to wander up and down the paths pensively. Both have seen her, and have their own theories as to who or what she is, but keep their distance.
_____Váya will not tolerate anyone mucking around in the graveyard, and has scared the wits out of a many hatchling who has dared play amongst the graves.

↠ Noirë ↠ it / its ↠ Cemetery Guardian Noirë is a spirit who inhabits a carved headstone of one of the cemetery's oldest graves. Like Váya, it sees it's purpose as being to protect the cemetery. It has existed in the cemetery even longer than Váya, and initially tried to drive her away, but soon came to realise her intent was to care for the cemetery. They rarely interact with one another, and seem pretty indifferent to the others' presence. Váya suspects that Noirë was initially a living being that was buried in the cemetery and came back to 'haunt' it, but Noirë has never given any indication that it has any memories of a past life. ↠ name meaning: tomb in Quenya |
Namesake: Quenya for ocean or stormy sea

Vaya may not particularly enjoy the living, but this opinion does not extend to the dead; they deserve respect. She makes sure every last headstone in the cemetery, no matter how small or neglected, is beautifully decorated with a display she thinks the occupant may appreciate from the little she can gather from their epitaph. These displays tend to feature flowers, trinkets (seashells are a favourite), or perhaps maybe even a precious stone or two if she can get her hands on them. No-one will be forgotten on her watch.

She looks like a swamp/shadow creature who is waiting to drown you while you don't expect it to happen... I love her.

Vaya. She definitely has that mysterious aura about her. Even though she does not like others, I could see her also having an amusement of scaring and/or pranking those who come to the graveyard. At least to abate any boredom she might have.

she’s absolutely shockingly stunning. that’s a gene combo i wouldn’t expect but it works so well! her eyes give her a sense of calming evil as if she’s awaiting the time to get you to trust her and then she attacks.

váya’s accent absolutely looks like it was made for her. deep blues and yellows are a favorite combo of mine and they are rocking it! the choice to use just two simple pieces of apparel to really show off the accent was a great one. if váya was haunting my clan, i’d be honored, and for that they get a star

I love how dark and forest-y Vaya's aesthetic is. She reminds me of something I'd picture when thinking of old Norse tales - something very old, an ancient power that many have forgotten but still lives on in an old-growth forest, protecting the knowledge that she's always known.

Wow, Vaya is gorgeous! I absolutely love how they look! I'm especially drawn to how her red colored eyes match with all the colors of her and her apparel.

She looks absolutely unreal! Her skin was basically made for her and looks absolutely perfect!

Vaya has me WEAK! Gosh the colors, and that accent? Oh, I'm in love. Seriously, and that little bitty pop of red to match the plague eyes? 10/10
Love the deep sea vibes. But it could also be like, ancient deity vibes too and I love both

I like Vaya the most though. Beautiful dragon anyway but that accent is beautiful! She only has simple apparel, but it works wonders <3

The urge to pick all of those gorgeous dark blue/red dragons in the first tab was strong. I'm glad I resisted though, because Vaya has my heart. Incorporating her eyes with the headband is SO SMART and looks great. I love.
