THE SPIRITUAL HEALER

Jaguar was born on the tundras of the Southern Icefield, but his family left shortly afterward, traveling instead to the Sea of a Thousand Currents, where they took up residence along the shoreline. It was here that he grew highly spiritual, and soon he left his family, running away to join the Tidelord's oracles. After all, he reasoned, they must have the same beliefs and methods as he did, right?

He was still just a hatchling, however, and his misunderstanding of the water flight's divination soon became the least of his worries. He didn't know how to take care of himself, and he'd been born with cloudy vision that made things even more difficult for him. This all culminated in a near-death experience: he chased a butterfly right over the edge of a cliff and plummeted into the water, where the impact with the surface knocked him unconscious.

Fortunately, however, Jaguar fell right in front of a pair of dragons - an adult tundra and a spiral hatchling - who had been fishing below the cliff, and when he came to he was on land, staring up into two unfamiliar faces. The strangers took him in, and he immediately accepted their offer to join their clan, not telling them that his birth parents were still alive or that he'd run away from home. He's since contacted his family, giving them closure after years of wondering where their son went, and now keeps in touch with them.

Jaguar never ended up joining the ranks of the oracles; instead, he learned his own brand of divination and then expanded into other practices as well, ultimately becoming something of a spiritual healer. He uses rituals and meditation to help treat any ailments - physical or otherwise - that the clan's healers can't fix for whatever reason, and although his work is no miracle cure he's usually able to provide at least some temporary relief.
