Dreamsicle

Though she is beautiful, her colors are jubilant and enticing, and an attractive citrus-and-cream scent is all around her, that is where Dreamsicle's kindly features end. There is no dragon with a lower tolerance for nonsense in all of Sornieth, save for perhaps the Stormcatcher. Fierce and unrelenting in battle, she trains young dragons to their mightiest before sending them on their way, either to the Flamecaller or another lair. Speak to her with respect, or she will inspire enough fear to demand it.

While the General's cold demeanor and strict policies may be off-putting to most dragons, this has not stopped some particularly tenacious would-be suitors from making their advances on her. She is strong and beautiful, what isn't desirable about that? Of course, these advances are unfailingly met with the same savagery she displays in battle. She has time for neither love nor the hatchlings it results in.

You could try, though. Start a conversation. Maybe your luck will be better.

Aside from training the Tsit's young dragons for a higher purpose, Dreamsicle occasionally takes on pupils from the beastclans as well. She has taught Talonok to fight with larger swords than their typical small blades, and under her tutelage even centaurs have learned to soften their hoofbeats enough for an effective ambush. Though tension with beastclans is inevitable, as motives conflict over both land and resource with the dragons, in the rare cases it erupts into fighting, the General quells the conflict with great haste. She may be a warrior, but is not fond of war.




Obtained Dreamsicle from Voltsy's free dragons thread. 0 regrets. I'll probably be re-geneing her soon to Ribbon/Striation. I thought she might look nice in gold, but when I asked myself what kind, the answer was not "jewelry and baubles", but "battle-scarred armor". Thus was my scrappy princess born.

This all happened after I realized she's Arcane, of course. I thought "oh, how nice, another candidate for my next Mire flyer", but I would never send a non-fodder to the Coliseum naked, so I took her to the dressing room. When I saw how good she looked in armor I knew just what I would do for lore, but I won't be changing her name. Part of the charm is imagining some punk upstart Bogsneak, too big for his britches, laughing when he hears he will be trained by "General Dreamsicle", then swiftly getting a sword pommel to the temple for his impudence.
