While Amoeba herself is not a Hunter, she works closely with the ones roaming about Bonecrunch. Her services are invaluable, and she is therefore strictly guarded by the Hunters, and will never fall into the same pool as their prey.
She fills a role in the niche market they create within the Scarred Wastelands, breaking down the game they produce for her through various means such as magic, medical science, and alchemy. Amoeba crafts potions, medicines, talismans, and the like that are imbued with the strengths of the individual they were derived from. These effects can enhance skills, offer resistances to certain magics and disease, cure ailments, and more.
She asks no questions. Not of the prey, not of what the Hunter intends to use her products for, nothing.
She also expects none in return.
