Background: Artery is a high-energy, chaotic mirror that runs one of the only tattoo shops in all of the Scarred Wasteland! It's a family run business between him, his siblings Vasc and Malfang, and his brother-in-law, Gorebash. The shop rests atop a large pair of living, flesh-like stilts that roam across the Wasteland. Originally one of the large "organplant-like" creatures that dot and thrive in the plaguescape, Artery and Vasc unearthed its roots, allowing it to walk. At the very top, on its shelf-like peak, they built their shop. Being so high up offers protection from the wide range of killer flora and fauna of the plague lands.

Artery collects various bugs and "plants" from the meat soil of the land, which he then uses to make the different inks he and his family use. Whatever is left over gets fed to the creature their shop rests upon, to keep it good and healthy!

Artery takes great pride in his business, and goes to great lengths to keep everything running smoothly, and business is open to all. The only caveat however is that he cannot tattoo non-plague dragons right off the bat. The substances he uses for his ink are highly toxic to dragons that don't already have a natural-born immunity to it, so for a non-plague dragon to safely get a tattoo, they'll have to have lived long enough in the area to have built up various immunities.


[ Above the shop door rests a notice with crude, hastily scribbled writing: "YES we are SAFE, YES we are CERTIFIED, YES you won't get bad bad bad infection here!! (Happened one time!) Plaguebringer says we are good. (PB even has tattoo, ask if you see her. If she says no, she lies!) ]
