Sunriser

DAY 1
And the first day concludes. Sunriser was a tundra with no parents, no lineage to fall back on and only an infinity of possibilities ahead of her. She found a clan that would take her in, a bedraggled sort of clan with blind prophets, disgraced soldiers, and exalted escapees. If anyone would allow her a place to lay her head while she carved out her own future, it would be these dragons. She was taught how to fight with tooth and nail by a kind bogsneak and she began training right away.
It was known that the beast clan would often challenge dragons to fights, fueled by anger and the ability to strike one down and watch them skitter away. It was also known that those in the beast clan would leave behind trinkets when defeated. Such items would help her with her vow. With renewed vigor, Sunriser began to fight, never once backing down on her challenge. She took on an extremely sturdy Ceanothus Brawler and nearly lost. She stood victorious, expecting the mith to shrink away and lick his wounds. Instead, it just looked at her. She eventually made to leave but heard skittering behind her, the mith was following her. So, in a moment of perhaps lacking judgement, she gave the Ceanothus Brawler the one potion she had left. With his wounds healing, the small creature fluttered onto her back and snuggled into her neck fur.


She was ready to continue her journey after a small lunch, but was stopped ny an energetic spiral.
"I heard you've been training, do you mind if I join?" Asked the green dragon. She was brightly colored with the sickening red eyes that indicated a plague born. Blue colored robes clung to her slender frame and made her look almost godly. "My name is Oracle!"

Sunriser was a bit stumped at first upon the sudden excitement, but she gave a grin. "If you can keep up!" she said, already proud in her abilities.

Before the two could run off to tackle the training ground, they were stopped by a tundra. The tundra patted the spiral on the head and told her to be careful before handing her a healing spell. He would then not let Oracle leave until she promised to let him help once they began to face tougher enemies.

"Who was that?" Sunriser asked.

"My dad." Oracle said, with a bit of a forced exacerbated tone. "he also told me you are invited to dinner later."

With that concluded, the two began to train furiously. No new steps were made to Sunriser's vow, though they did store some choice items in the clan vault. As the sun set, Sunriser and Oracle brought back the food they found while they fought. With a smile the two presented it at dinner time. A free dinner, paid for in blood and grit.

It was then that Sunriser met Oracle's fathers, Prophecy, a blind spiral, and Holmes, the sweet tundra that Sunriser met the day before. Prophecy was insistent that he would be the one to take over and help them after they reached the hardest to conquer enemies. Apparently, he had spent years and much gold on his fighting style and was able to conquer all foes before him, even if he was blind. As the night went on and the two girls regailed the dads of their fights, and the fathers began to look a bit more worried with every narrow escape told, they decided it was time to turn in for the night. Sunriser and Oracle stayed up much later, chatting all throughout the night and not even noticing when they fell asleep cuddling into eachother's warmth
