Everyone told her that bugs were icky. Bugs aren't a girly hobby. Why is she wasting time crawling around in the dirt looking for nasty insects?

Corrine didn't care. She loves insects because they're useful. No one acknowledges that, but she knows it's true, and that's what matters. From bees to beetles, ants to maggots... She loves them all, and will vehemently defend them to anyone who dares to degrade them.

Sadly, their insults don't end with her six legged friends. She's often teased for being too tall. For having thick glasses. For muddy knees and frizzy hair. Because of this, the only person she can trust is her best friend, Valyrie.
