Uh-oh, looks like this strangely gifted wildclaw wandered a little too far from their home lair (452562, Hyzenthlaay), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt them, we'd really appreciate it if you instead could just return them to their original home via the Crossroads, send them off in the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread (warning, you will get another traveler in return if you do this), or if you don’t want another traveler in return, this rest hub. You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact Hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)! Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it! Caution monitors her interactions, every step of her wordmap perfectly planned in fear of faltering - but it's no matter, and the words come fast and hot and heavy anyway, with the end result being exactly what she wants but not under the means she'd like. Dragons are afraid of Monika. Dragons think that Monika drinks thick the patterned sweat that she wrests from their foreheads, that threat lines every request. Monika wonders the same, knowing that the best devils are those well-hidden. The heat that builds up under her eyes when she speaks feels abnormal... They all responded to her exactly how she expected and feared -- the merchants lowered the prices of their goods to almost nothing just for her, and the room she secured at the traveler's inn was somehow free of charge. She disliked that these things came so easily and unfairly to her, especially given her efforts to do otherwise, but she cannot say she didn't enjoy the simple ease of this life. Once, in jest, she asked another traveler to get lost, and woke the next morning to the innkeeper telling her that the traveler had simply vanished from his bed. No one suspected her, but she knew it was her fault. She packed her bags and left.
